TAN members are alumni volunteers who believe they can represent Tufts in a positive manner and wish to conduct interviews with Tufts undergraduate applicants.

Our goal is to provide an engaging and positive interview experience for our applicants. The primary purposes of the interview are to make Tufts more accessible to our applicants, to provide an opportunity for applicants to ask questions and to allow applicants and alumni to share information that might not otherwise be found in the application.

Before signing up, please be sure to review the position description, eligibility requirements, and best practices found on this page. Please note that for the 2024-2025 academic year, all interviews must be conducted virtually via a teleconference platform (Zoom, Skype, FaceTime) or via telephone. No in-person interviews are permitted.

How many interviews are you able to conduct during our Early Decision 1 Round (October-November)? Please note this is a small round of interviews comprising about 1/8 of our interview request pool.

How many interviews are you able to conduct during our Early Decision 2 and Regular Decision Round (January-February)? Please note this is our larger round of interviews comprising about 7/8 of our interview request pool. If you can take on more interviews during this period, please feel free to do so!

For 2024-2025, interviews should primarily be conducted virtually via video teleconference or telephone. Interviewers should defer to the student’s preference for virtual platform.
