Mock Class: "The Historian's Bias"

Monday, October 6, 2025 at 7:00 PM until 8:00 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

Join Professor Proctor for a lecture on the following: How important is the individual in history? Can one individual really change the world and alter the lives and futures of thousands or even millions? Who tells the story and is how the story is told important to determining how that story shapes memory? Do the facts shape the history or do historians shape the facts? Whose voices are listened to and whose are silenced? We will explore these questions and many others as we try to define what history is and the power that the historian's pen can wield.
