Mock Class: "The Weaponization of Migration"

Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 6:00 PM until 7:00 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

Join us for a mock class led by Professor Kelly M. Greenhill. Drawing upon the findings of her award-winning book, Weapons of Mass Migration: Forced Displacement Coercion and Foreign Policy, Greenhill will explain how and why states and non-actors use the threat or actual creation of cross-border migration flows as an instrument of statecraft. She will discuss both historical and contemporary examples from around the globe and discuss what current patterns portend for the future.
